  1. Repeating the same color in the pattern. That is, before choosing a tie, look at
the dominant color of your shirt. Then, choose a tie that accent is the same as the dominant color of the shirt. For example, if you are a light brown shirt, pair a pink tie accented brown stripes would be suitable subject. Therefore, even if you tie a soft pink color, but the accent is on a tie, the color of your shirt.
  • If you are a striped shirt, then first examine the amount lines. Important in this case is, your shirt should be striped thin and narrow, not wide. Tie to accompany a shirt like this, is a thick striped tie. Do not forget, keep mention of color as in the previous tips.
  • Never ever choose two patterns in the same size for a shirt and tie. You may look confusing. Vote accent varies between patterns. For example, a classic shirt colored stripe accent a gray and white, then the tie is right for this shirt is gray colored tie with a white line that the line size is larger and wider than the lines on the shirt.
  • Match smaller patterns with larger ones. For example, if your shirt has a small pattern, you must use a large patterned tie and vice versa. In this case the important note is, the color of your shirt should be a neutral like black, white and gray. With such a color shirt, tie colors and accents any, will remain juxtaposed deserve.
