Much of the information that states that adults get about 8
hours. But it is corrected through the results of a recent study from the
University of California San Diego.
As reported by Fox, Friday (07/25/2014) studies conducted
over six years, involving 1.1 million people mention that people who slept 6.5
to 7.4 hours each night have a lower death rate than those who sleep less or
more than that.
Added Daniel Kripke, co-author of the study states that a
person who slept 6.5 to 7.5 hours each night more productive, happy and
productive than those who are less or more than that amount.
In another study, more than the 8 hours of sleep interfere
with the performance and memory the next day. And sleep too little of 6.5-7.5
hours is associated with health problems such as diabetes, obesity and
cardiovascular disease.
But
the above refuted by Timothy Morgenthaler,
president of the American Academy of
Sleep Medicine. Dr. Morgenthaler suggests that people experience themselves what is felt after sleeping
7-8 hours. He said as reported by the Wall Street Journal, Friday (07/25/2014) sleep each person needs is different depending on cultural and
genetic factors.
Another opinion was expressed Safwan Badr, pengritisi health
and sleep medicine from Wayne State University School of Medicine in Detroit.
"I think a person would not oversleep. Currently auto body enough sleep
will wake up," he said.(Gabriel Abdi Susanto)
